Delete Your Account

You can delete your Dermaglow account and everything attached to it at any time, from inside the app, in four taps. No email, no waiting period, no retention of your photos.

Delete from inside the app

  1. Open Dermaglow and go to Settings (the gear icon on the home screen).
  2. Scroll to Privacy & Data and tap Delete Account.
  3. Read the confirmation — it explains that this permanently deletes your scan data, routines and diary entries and cannot be undone.
  4. Tap Delete. You are signed out immediately and your account is gone.

This works the same on iPhone and Android, and for accounts created with email, Google or Apple, as well as guest accounts.

Delete by email

If you no longer have the app installed, or cannot sign in, email privacy@dermaglowbeauty.com from the address on the account with the subject line "Delete my Dermaglow account". We verify it is you, delete the account, and confirm by reply — within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

Data What happens
Facial photos Permanently removed from your private storage folder at the moment of deletion.
Scan results and Skin Score history Deleted with the account.
Routines, products, diary entries, chat history Deleted with the account.
Account data (email, display name, skin profile) Deleted with the account; any residual copies in backups are purged within 30 days.
Purchase records The link between your account and your purchases is removed. Your receipts remain with Apple or Google under their own retention rules — an active subscription must be cancelled in your Apple ID or Google Play settings, as deleting the account does not cancel it.
Anonymous analytics Aggregated usage events that were never tied to your identity are kept; nothing in them can be traced back to you.

Deleting data without deleting the account

You can delete individual scans, routines and diary entries from inside the app at any time. To export a copy of your data before deleting, use Settings → Export My Data.
